Newsberg K2 Articles

I'm using the Newsberg template and trying to get K2 articles to display on the Home Page using the Article Thumb Slider and I get a "Class 'ContentHelperRoute' not found" when previewing or accessing the home page. Normal Joomla articles shows up correctly. Any ideas?

Thanks for contacting us. Sorry for the inconvenience. The articles_layout & articles_thumb_slider add-ons are not compatible with the K2. Besides both addons are overridden.

I'll stick with normal Joomla Articles but is there a way to get the Articles Thumb Slider to show the picture that's inside the article vs. requiring me to upload the image in the blog options tab? I'm trying to automate this process as I'm using JoomGrabber to pull in RSS feeds which pulls in about 100 articles per day. Articles are created successfully and images appear inside the article as they should. I just need them to show up on the main pages.

Thanks for the clarification. But, you have to upload the images inside the Helix blog option tab if you want to use the articles_layout & articles_thumb_slider add-ons. Besides, If you want to use the global article addon then you can upload your images from the image & links options. We are not allowed to provide third-party extensions.
