Prepare Content In Order To Activate Plugin Working In Custom Textblock Addon

Hello,

I use sp page builder latest version. And helix ultimate latest version.

I want to work with tabs and sliders. Therefore I use a plugin but the plugin is not activated (does not work) in the addon custom textblock. Normally you can set 'prepare content' to yes in the modules. Is there is setting like this in sp page builder? How can I make this work?

Thanks

Hi,

there is no such a switcher so far.

You can use Custom Module with shortcode inside > then in Module addon

OR

that addon: shortcode_html_unzip.zip

download, unzip, and using FTP upload here: components\com_sppagebuilder\addons

then just find it on the list of addons "shortcode", inside it you can use shortcodes from plugins (most of them).

Hello there,

this addon should be included in standard SPPB Pro installation because it helps standard Joomla 4 (and 5?) integration - the "prepare content" flag in standard Joomla custom modules is very useful and simple to understand. One question : why having a custom tinymce integration in SPPB? It would clearly help the user to find to "editor-xtd" plugins in textarea fields? I've tried to customize the admin.php file in the shortcode_html addon, replacing "textarea" by "editor" in field definition: it works but it displays a reduced version of tinymce, whatever the tinymce Joomla plugin settings are. Is there a way to have a deeper customization of the sppb tinymce editor in sppb? Why not using editor-xtd plugins?

Thanks!

nb: the context is the following. I'm currently trying to find best options for a no-code client to benefit from sp page builder UI to make rich layouts and for me as a developer to follow Joomla 4 standard. Easier to maintain...

  1. I will try and it's on our to-do-list, but I am not from developer team to decide.

  2. I don't the answer yet, I can only guess it was to keep only the most needed icons. But in my private project I use only JCE editor.
