Show Restricted Content To Non-logged Users

Hi

In Joomla's core com_content, you can restrict articles to certain access levels (ie registered), but still show them in blog views, showing those articles' title, intro text, image and readmore button. But when the link to the detailed view of the article is clicked, you'll get asked to login to view the full content. You just need to enable "show forbidden links" option on each article or in global content settings.

Is there any possibility of doing this with SP Pagebuilder? I'm specifically talking about doing it with any of the addons that will load articles, like articles, articles slider, articles layout...

In case it's not possible with configuration options, could you please point me at the file(s) where I should look at to try to tweak them so all articles are loaded? I would just need to get articles assigned to one specific access level to be loaded together with those assigned to "public" level.

Thanks in advance!

I am looking for this too. I rely heavily on showing a teaser of my articles to non-members then having the full article available when you become a member. I am testing with the articles add-on but it doesn't show the intro text for any article that isn't in the Public ACL. If I have a members article - it doens't show the intro text with a read more that says 'Members Login: To Read More'.

If I enable the 'Show All Posts' option in the add on - then clicking that drops to a page where all the articles work as expected

Thank you

@Bob

For the moment I'm using Regularlabs "Conditional Content" plugin for this. It's a complete PITA having to add the shortcodes to all articles (although some SQL UPDATE queries helped getting all existing articles modified), but you get bigger flexibility plus the option to display a custom message for non-registered in the article.

Besides the above, I would really like to see this feature implemented in Page Builder; after all, it's a feature already in the core, and 3rd party stuff is supposed to enhance the core, not to downgrade it.
