from v 3.8.8 fully functional without errors

v4 has:

1. added modify date system messages automatically on if you choose in articles to display the modified date the message goes away but I have not been able to not show the date without the box appearing. allegedly this can be taken off by modifying the article but then see #2

2. cannot add article addon, the SP page builder just makes the addon disappear *Articles can only be added on as a joomla module and articles module cannot be displayed with dynamic setting

3. cannot edit any page that has a gantry particle nested in the page total death to any page with gantry

• this also occurs with pages that have custom HTML or custom modules.

4. cannot import templates

5. save errors the system says save and I close out but the pages are not saved. This systems now requires immediate check-ins or the "saves" are lost.

6. it is far slower, making adjustments to padding margins and bootstrap layouts takes three times longer as it requires mutliple clicks. the visual system in sp4 is presently more confusing to use than 3.8x

Even deleting all SP page builder content and reinstalling 3.8.9 does not resovle whatever has occured as a result of v4 install.

The past version allowed the "backend" edit to repair things that may have broken with this version it only allows the front-end which is clearly riddled with bugs.

Additionally, since the update I have had several php rendering errors which have amounted to overriding overrides made in gantry5 changing out menu adjustments in spite of there being no menu items whatsoever made in helix/SP. Some fonts have spontaneously changed larger.

This is extremely problematic placing an article module on a page is essential. I do not know what else I can do, since i cannot rollback, except to fully deactivate SP page builder, delete it, and move to gridbox or quix.... sad times for joomla
