How To Make "Menu Headings" Custom Red

I have two Joomla main menu headings on the main menu. The other menu items that are links turn red upon hover and when visited but the menu headings that are not links don't. How can these two menu headings also turn red instead of staying grey? - thank you.

}Path towards custom CSS: Extensions>Templates>Styles> Click on your current default template name then choose Template Options. Then find custom CSS within the custom code.
