Hello together

I use the Helix Ultimate Template with the Page Builder 4 incl. Joomla 4.

How can I insert a post (article) written in Joomla backend, which was created with Page Builder, on a page created with Page Builder?

Hi Sebastian,

In SPPB 4.0x you have two separate features:

  1. Pages - where SPPB component is used only.
  2. Articles integration (plugin from SPPB) that allows you to use SPPB inside article editor.

Articles addons from SPPB allows you to display INTRO from articles, but it includes only intro text & image, not SPPB content.

The main question is: why inside Page you want to display a single article?

Thank you for the answer.

My client writes his articles in Joomla backend. He doesn't really know how to maintain a website, so the whole Construckt is set up so that he writes his articles in the backend, where it is exactly defined which article appears where and he doesn't first select the page to then enter a new article there.

The way to create an article directly via the page builder will probably be too complicated for the customer.

I mean there is the possibility to create an article in the J-Backend. There is the choice to do it via Joomla-Editior or via Page Builder.

If I choose the Page Builder, I have much more possibilities to design the article.

Therefore, I thought that it would be possible to publish an article created in Joomla backend through Page Builder over a page created with Page Builder.

He/She is doing fully correct. Joomla allows his to use front-end editor for articles as well. But I think it's a matter of habit, I do that too.

The main question is: why he may need SPPB for articles? Indeed more design options, but for typical blog post - JCE editor will be totally Okay.

Besides, if you know SPPB better than he is, maybe just make him 1h teaching lesson. People can learn almost anything if they have to, or like to.
