Category Blog Layout - Background Color - Each Item

I use the Helix Ultimate template with SP Page Builder Pro.
On my page i use the Articles Addon to show the articles in a specific category.
When i turn on the background color, the whole div will show this color. Is it possible to show the articles in separate boxes with the chosen background color?

Yes, but you have to define your own unique design based on Custom CSS for that addon. First preview used classes and then create custom shadows, borders, bg colors etc. Just from addon setting it may not posssible.
I hope in one of upcoming updates in March / April we will add more design premade layout for that addon. I asked for it last week on our wish-list.
