Hi guys,
how can I make a link to a specific Section of a page work faster?
There is a little delay when landing on the page, which some Users tells me is confusing
Links looking like this: https://waterproofingpilot.com/index.php/shop.html#ASSESS where the #ASSESS is the section where they should land, but they land at the top of the page - and then a pause - before they are taken to the section.
In that pause they click on something else...

It does not depend on links, but depends on the speed of the Internet connection and the speed of building a DOM structure. Personally, I have no problems when click on your link. I get immediately to the desired part of the page.
There is no way to improve the performance of the click on the link. You need to work on the performance of the entire site, testing it with various restrictions. Network tab in the dev tools of your browser allows you to make such tests
