Hey guys,

How do you change the Meta Title for articles?

I know it pulls in the Title of the blog, but this needs to be edited for SERP and SEO results.

Hi Zack,

  1. Each Article has field for that, by default it's taken from Article Title. But you can edit "Browser Page Title" in Menu item as well.
  2. Or you can install extra SEO component to manage in different way. For example check features of: Route 66 Free/Pro and 4SEO Pro. They are great SEO tools.

BTW

Besides there is no Meta Title - is only that:

<title>This is the title of the article.</title>

and descrtiption meta

<meta name="description" content="Place the meta description text here.">

So maybe you should talk local SEO Expert first and he/she will tell you all details. Joomla core features are on your side, we can help only with Joomshaper products here.
