How To Modify Layout So It Doesn't Get Overwitten With Updates Please

On my J4 site I have positions 'top1' and 'top2' which I want to modify so that instead of being equal size they are 'top1' 60% and 'top2' is 40%.

Can you tell me how to do that so they don't get overwitten with every update.

I'm not a coder so if possible I need to keep it simple please.

Hi. If you use one of predefined Headers then you can use CSS only, by adding your code in custom.css file.

Or you can turn OFF predefined Header and create your own Header and Top Bar sections. Then you can to adjust it in layout builder via settings.

All about custom.css file and about custom header was described in Helix doc. Do not ignore the reading of the documentation. There you will find many answers.

Many thanks for the answers though I have been a little confused because it's out of date.

I have selected 'Top Bar' layout and I need to edit it - can I do that or can I copy it and make the changes I need there?

Many thanks
