There have been several threads on this matter and no response from support as of yet. I'lladdmy thought on this

The submenu items work in desktop with mouse. Unable to verify for laptop (touch) or Tablet (touch)

The problem is on mobile (iphone) expanding the submenu does not work I can tap the arrows all I want and nothing happens I suspect the touch is somehow disable on mobile.

You have to click on arrow icon to expand sub menu. There is no alternative function on Helix. Thanks

You just loaded a module inside the mega menu. You need to create menu items to see the sub menu on your mobile device. Thanks

I have revised the menu however the mega menu does not expand on mobile when touched.

I tested the menu system on both iPhone 8 (mine) and a friends (iPhone 14) and trying to expand the CPA Products and Services menu item does not function on Safari or Chrome on mobile.

I have gone through several of the JS demo temapltes on mobile and though the touch to expand an menu item is finicky sometime it will open and other times not I have to tap multiple time to find the seet spot. and unable to close any of the opend submenus.

The tap target size seems to be the problem to be resized.

what is your standard tap size in pixels?

a fix is a must have not a request.

I have manaully rezized the arrow toggler to 36px, the mobile touch occassionally woks but most time it simply relaods the home page

.menu-toggler:after { font-family: "Font Awesome 5 Free"; font-size: 36px; }

I have to touch at least 12 times before I find the tiny sweet spot before the submenu expands. This is not a solution its a hack fix

We need a solution to this problem.

I canot accept thi sanswer.

I may not be a coder but I do know how these functin work. There should be set area for touch which can be sized up or down. irregardeless of the text or icon size.

How and where do I setr the Target Size to be moe accessible for an older audience.
