Page Builder Article Content Plugin - Editor Error

Hi there, I have a problem with the Content Plugin from SP Page Builder. I have JCE installed but usually only use Codemirror as editor.

If I enable SP Page Builder within a Joomla Article and select the Text Addon, the plugin breaks and on the console I got some errors from TinyMCE, like this: ReferenceError: tinyMCE is not defined

I've already tried to:

  • unistall JCE
  • Disable tinyMCE

But as long as Codemirror is the default editor, the error occurs.

Any way to fix this and make it work having Codemirror as default editor? Thanks, Geraldo

Hi, sure, It's easier if I share a video https://drive.google.com/file/d/1J3lWbsH0OO0tRSoiSZOnAtiwjGeSWL2w/view?usp=sharing

So, Joomla Article, enable Page Builder for the article. On creating new addons, everything works well, expect the Text Addon (where there is the editor) and in the console I find the error.

Best regards, Geraldo

Ok, thank you very much, but as I stated in the first post, I know it's an Tiny editor error and enabling it oh global or user parameters it works.

My question was, can you make it work with Codemirror editor selected in the Global Configurations options?

I have the same problem with JCE. SP Pagebuilder editor on the front end works fine. But, in the admin area (backend), when trying to edit a page, it simple shows a white screen. Other developers I have talked with indicated it is something related to how SP Pagebuilder has the permissions built in. I submitted this issue a couple of weeks ago and still have not heard back on a solution. Right now, all of my website contributors are unable to edit content on the backend of the website. This is really frustrating for someone who is a paid subscriber. If I disable the SP Pagebuilder plugin, the normal Joomla editor and article load fine. It's that plugin specifically.

I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the SP Pagebuilder plugin, which didn't help. This issue started right after the most recent update. I've asked about rolling back to a previous version of the plugin until this bug is resolved, but was told that I couldn't have access to past versions.

I'm having this same problem, but even if I change the editor to TinyMCE it still doesn't work. Can you look at my site?

Did someone get this fixed somehow? Now I'm getting an even stranger bug. The pages/articles created with Page Builder Content Plugin are showing without any style. All text, no images and no styles.

Tried to change PHP version and nothing. Don't know what to do anymore.
