Hi Imre,

please translate those phrases:

COM_SPMEDICAL_FIELD_DAY_SUNDAY
COM_SPMEDICAL_FIELD_DAY_MONDAY
COM_SPMEDICAL_FIELD_DAY_TUESDAY
COM_SPMEDICAL_FIELD_DAY_WEDNESDAY
COM_SPMEDICAL_FIELD_DAY_THURSDAY
COM_SPMEDICAL_FIELD_DAY_FRIDAY
COM_SPMEDICAL_FIELD_DAY_SATURDAY

In Joomla Admin: System Dashboard > Manage > Languages: Overrides

(override both for admin and site)

BTW

check that file: administrator\language\en-GB\en-GB.com_spmedical.ini

Hi, In the file, i have already made the changes, but it does not help. COM_SPMEDICAL_FIELD_DAY_SUNDAY="Vasárnap" COM_SPMEDICAL_FIELD_DAY_MONDAY="Hétfő" COM_SPMEDICAL_FIELD_DAY_TUESDAY="Kedd" COM_SPMEDICAL_FIELD_DAY_WEDNESDAY="Szerda" COM_SPMEDICAL_FIELD_DAY_THURSDAY="Csütörtök" COM_SPMEDICAL_FIELD_DAY_FRIDAY="Péntek" COM_SPMEDICAL_FIELD_DAY_SATURDAY="Szombat"

I do not find anything in the Overrides because i have installed only ENG languages and I have just translated the languages ini files. I have translated all of the which belongs to the sp medical, but these days does not translated.

Please use System Dashboard > Manage > Languages: Overrides

and ADD new phrases for front-end (site).

  1. Do we talk about component or template itself?
  2. Share access , I will check

Hi Paul,

I'm talking about the days of the week found in the SP Medical component of the Nuron template. These are the days that are displayed on the doctors' pages.

The site is still under development, but you'll find access info below if you'd like to take a look.

Thanks in advance!

The only solution I've found so far is to translate the days of the week in the following file: administrator/components/com_spmedical/models/fields/visiting_times.xml

The problem with that is that you can only translate into one language... :-/

Hello Paul,

Have you had a chance to look into this problem?
It would be really great if this template and the SP Medical extension could be used for a multilingual site...

Thanks in advance for your time.

Hello,

I guess this silence means that no solution can be proposed to solve this problem...

It's a real shame to see that many of these beautiful templates and full of promises extensions are mostly not usable in real conditions... :/

In theory, you could edit that file, that you already mention and put those phrases not like typical name, but as PHARES that Joomla can translate. But I am not sure if it will work with xml file.

Solution No2 , if that site has only two languages, you can use, two language phrase: Sunday / Domingo (example En/Es) - for each day. And all people should understand day names. Maybe not ideal, but works.

Hi Paul,

What do you mean by "phrase that Joomla can translate" ? Using PHP echo Text in the XML file ?

If so it doesn't seem to work...

Solution n°2 : The site will be in 3 languages, so this option is not very practical as it makes the timetables very long and difficult to read...

I understand, but I cannot upgrade component code on the forum :/

I can only inform our developers.
