Button Group Background Colour Not Working Of Custom Button Type

Hi Guys,

It appears that when you add a button group and choose a 'custom' button, the background colour is being changed to 'transparent', no matter what colour you add.

Here's the addon backgruond colour being chosen.

and here's the result

Is this a bug or is there some setting I need to change to make this work?

Hi

Thanks for contacting us.You have set background color transparent. You have to set the background color which you want. Could you please give me that specific page link?

-Regards.

Hi Mehtaz,

Thanks for your reply - but that's incorrect - the button background is set to white, as shown in the screenshot, but the system is changing it to transparent.

This is happening with button groups, not individual buttons.

I've added the link to the Page Builder page, both backend and frontend in the hidden content.

Are you talking about all buttons? You can use custom CSS for changing the button colors.

Hi Mehtaz,

I realise I can use custom CSS - that's not the issue here.

The issue is that the button group addon has a field for background colours of the buttons, but this isn't working - it's setting the button background colour to 'transparent' regardless of the colour you add to the background field.

This is a bug in the addon that I thought you might like to let the Devs know so they can fix.

Custom CSS isn't a great solution for clients as they don't know CSS. It's also worth noting that we shouldn't have to fix bugs with custom CSS - they should be picking up the colours within the field - not setting it to transparent.

Ok I will inform our team about it. But did you try the latest versions of page builder? And if you need any CSS help then you can give me that specific link which button you want to change. Then I will change it.

Page builder version is 3.8.10.

Thanks for the offer, but I don't need help with CSS - just would like to see the transparency issue fixed for button groups.
