Edit In Sppb 5.0.9 Impossible

SP Page Builder 2 years ago

Hi, Just updated a joomla 3.9 site local to Joomla 4.3.4 with php8.1.16 Installed sppb 5.0.9 and shaper helix 2.0.14

But editing backend and front end is real frustrating. Added a slider and try to edit a button style in slide 1, this gives me so much popup windows i can't see my page anymore?

Am I missing something? or can I still use sppb 4? Thanks in advance.

Did some testing this weekend to get a workable setup... right now use Joomla 4.3.4 php8.1.16 sp pagebuilder 3.8.10 shaper helixultimate 2.0.14

This works in backend and frontend. Would this be a stable and recommended setup for now?

Only got this message in Maintenance: Database (Probably because I installed-uninstalled builder5) Is there an easy way to fix?

One Problem

Table 'jos_sppagebuilder' has the wrong type or attributes for column 'checked_out_time' with type datetime. (From file 3.7.10.sql.)
Table 'jos_sppagebuilder' has the wrong type or attributes for column 'checked_out_time' with type datetime. (From file 3.7.14.sql.)
42 database changes were checked.
29 database changes did not alter table structure and were skipped.

Hi Toufiq, It's still local so can't send access right now. Question is if this setup is most stable/usable for joomla4 and php8? Have some other sites and don't want to wast time upgrading ;) Is there anything I can check for you regarding the database problem?

Sorry don't understand why joomla 3...running joomla 4 right now? Also i'm not sending full backup files due to privacy policy. I could try to install this live and send login. Thats why I asked your expertise about this setup and if I can check anything myself.

At least you should cooperate with us to share the staging site login credentials to check the issue. Without investigating your problem how can I solve it? Thanks

Create a staging site and downgrade your php version. I will check & get back to you soon.

How to create a staging site https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ms8hPQfM3xfF4XUO0W4pUZAhzGUqxBwD/view

  • Create a subdomain from your cPanel.
  • Export your existing site's database from PHPMyAdmin.
  • Create a new database.
  • Import the existing database to the new database.
  • Update the configuration.php file.
  • Go to the administrator section of the staging site.
