Can you check settings again by this time using back-end editor

on my demo site is working OK - text is centered on Tablet and Mobile view is I set that using above option (back-end).

Now I will check front-end editor....

Maybe you had enabled Production mode in SPPB 5.0.9? Sorry, but I couldn't reproduce that problem also using front-end editor, watch YT clip

No Cache enabled, No SPPB Production mode, JCH Optimize was Off

Maybe - inside your template styles text-aligin for H1 is forced to be left? This is one hypothesis. You can certainly check it using browser Code Inspector.
