I am using SPPB 5.0.9. I have an issue with the way that the Opt-In form add-on works. When you set the Form Type to Popup form, the maximum Popup Timeout is 10k milliseconds. This is not enough as it doesn't give the reader enough time to read the text, decide to sign up, and then fill in the email address bar. In fact, I tested it, and the form disappeared while I was filling in my email address. It also didn't allow the captcha to load properly.

I have 4 suggestions.

1. Change the maximum timeout to, say, 30 seconds.
2. Add an option that the popup never disappears until the reader closes it.
3. Add a much more prominent 'cross' that allows the user to clearly see how to close the popup.
4. Allow the success message to be modified.

I hope this can be added in the next release.
