MP4 Video Only Plays In The Backend

I have another question about playing a video. In the the frontend editor, playing an mp4 video works. However, the browsers do not play it. However, the video plays in all browsers when I drag it to an empty window.

Ah yes. The video is local on our server

Hi Patric,

Edit Video addon and put absolute path to video file:

huber.greenchili.ch/images/video/video.mp4

Besides if that site is only in DE (or DE is default lang) you don't need /de/ in URL alias: Plugins > Language Filter (System) > Remove URL Language Code : Yes / Ja > Save & Close

That was my mistake with the absolute path.

The second language will be added later and the old URLs of the old site already have the /de in them.
