Hi, I have just updated RSForms and a few other components that required updating and I noticed when I update SP Page Builder to version 5.x some non-printable characters appearing as whitespace are showing on the page. When the "System - SP PageBuilder" plugin is disabled everything works fine. I have contacted RSForms support and they have taken a look and suggested I contact JoomShaper as it looks like your plugin that is breaking it.

Any assistance would be appreciated, Craig

Hi Crag,

  1. First use fix file (in case of): https://www.joomshaper.com/forum/question/27802
  2. Second, about non-printable characters appearing as whitespace. I have to see to tell more - like Joomla Doctor <0.0> :
  • a. Share link to screenshot with issue area.
  • b. And, if possible, share URL to that subpage (with details where to look)

Hello Paul,

Thank you for getting ak to me so quik. Please find url and login information, I have enabled the System - SP PageBuilder plugin, from the front end if you click the iew Button of any of the submissions and scroll all the way down you will see the signature images you will see that it is not being displayed. From the Administrator back end if you disable System - SP PageBuilder plugin and then go back and check again you will see the signature image is now displayed.

Feel free to play around as its just a temp site, my lie site is only localhost.

Hmm, indeed. But sorry, I have no idea why. Even when I switched order of loading SPPB plugin it still doesn't help. It looks like code conflict.

Hi Paul,

The guys from RSForms seem to have found the problem, please see below.

Offending file is:

templates/shaper_educon/sppagebuilder/addons/feature/site.php

Notice the extra tab before php which makes it render a blank tab before all other Joomla! output (this file is loaded by the v5 SP Page Builder plugin, probably in a different way than what v4 was doing)

I removed the TAB and it seems to be working fine now.

Oh, good to know.

I guess removing that file and allowing Joomla to use/load feature addon from component directly also could help.
