Discount/Coupon Code At Category, Sub-Category Or Product Level ?!

Paid for software I can't use ;( due to 5 really basic missing features - this is feature 1 that is missing .
Discount/Coupon can not be set by Category, Sub-Category or Product level, (even if Nia claims otherwise with this response:
It seems that you are facing an issue with setting up discounts in EasyStore. To resolve this issue, please try the following steps: Go to the EasyStore admin panel. Navigate to the 'Coupons & Discounts' section. Create a new coupon. Set the discount type to 'Category', 'Sub-Category' or 'Product' level. Save the changes.
Only issue, there is no place to Set the discount type to 'Category', 'Sub-Category' or 'Product' level. on my screen?!

Coupon code does not work like this. I guess you are thinking of a solution where you will discount all products in one particular category with a discount code. This solution is not designed with the component. Our discount code is applicable to all products on the site. Whenever customer purchases anything, he can use it on the checkout page to avail the discount. It will apply to the total payable amount. However, we will add this feature in the future. It is in our plan.

Added to wish-list already. I think using category for cupon by now should be sufficient, later we can consider more advanced rules. I know how it works in HS Business edition.

Is nice to see your responses are most times very smart. We miss this also and nice to know you are considering.
We miss to have discounts coupons per customer or per category or beeing able to add some products to a coupon to do a specific promotion on a product line or some products (in a similar way adding tags to products you could add products to coupons), but for sure you will find a nice wat to to.
Discount per customers is cause we deal with different type of customers (resellers, system integrators) and in some cases they do have different level of prices.
So beeing able to set a more complex the discount system for diferent elements would be nice.

Thank you - so I guess we will wait for coupon by category [by product is highly useful also as sometimes you want to have that flexibility and/or the flexibility to have a discount for 1 product on top of a category or sub-category discount].
