Fixter Strange Background Behavior

Template 4 years ago

In edit view I can see a background on a row I have setup. When I save the edit view and actually view the finished page the background is gone. See pics.

It is doing this across the whole site and not just this page. I have a custom background set in the body of the template itself that is actually blue and it doesn't appear either. What is changing the background in edit view?

Hi there!

Thanks for contacting us.

I have checked your edit mode and changed section background color, and see it is working!

Here you go:

https://prnt.sc/113fech

And I have left the change for you to check.

Best Regards

Your main body is getting the color you set. Here you go:

https://prnt.sc/113fk50

And if you set nothing as your section background color, then that section is getting your main body color, set by you:

https://prnt.sc/113fkrk

Hope it is much clearer now:)

So here's the weird behavior I'm seeing. This is across the whole site.

Set the background color for the body in the template:

This is the color I see on the frontend edit:

Here's what it looks like on actual page:

I need what I set in the template as the body background color to actually show. Have I set somewhere white as a background for all of my pages? In the frontend edit it shows correctly. But when the page displays it, it has a white background.

So are you saying that even though I set the custom background color in the template for the body, that if no background color is set in any of the rows in SP Page Builder that it will default to white?

If so, why would SP Page Builder show the custom background color set in the template for the body when editing the page and then change on the actual displayed page?

Hi there!

Sorry for the unwanted delay.

I have checked your backend. Created a new row, put a test addon and found the background color is not set there, so it apears with your custom background color in the editor mode and in the actual site too.

Here are screenshots what I see:

https://prnt.sc/11ys2j0

https://prnt.sc/11ys3ri

And I have checked your existing section setting too, and it was set to white:

https://prnt.sc/11ysylt

I have left the test section for you to check.

You may try to clear your Joomla and browser cache, and also check with different browser.

Best Regards
