Pizza Wheel Of Doom

SP Page Builder 1 year ago

SPPageBuilder v5.2.5 Date: 2016-09-01 (??) Joomla: v4.4.2 LuxuryOrt v 2.01 base template

I can edit using "backend" editor. However, the "frontend editor" just gets the pizza wheel of doom and does nothing. Other pages can be edited "normally" both ways.

On exit from the frontend editor, the "padlock" symbol appears for that page... Clicking unlocks it, but you can still access it irrespective of the state of the lock.

I have a video of this for evidence - but no means to upload

Why does this KEEP happening? This has been a regular problem with NO solution (except delete page and rebuild). Export of page to json, then import does NOT solve it...

regards

Sorry, your video seems to be complicated. I could not get the issue. So far, I understand that you cannot use frontend editor on some pages. Please share the page link in the hidden content. I will check the frontend editing for the pages.

Thank you for checking the video. Sorry if the vid seemed complicated.

I can edit pages fine with backend editor. But for the attached link is for the main page backend, which works fine. the front end does not. nothing appears.

The front end editor works fine for other pages. That has been a consistent problem for a long time. In addition, why does the page get "locked"?

This could be a cache issue. Please clear your Joomla cache and Browser's cache often and then check. If possible, then check with a different browser.
