Page Builder Article 'template'

Hello, I maybe missing something but is there a way of creating a page layout that is then applied to multiple articles in a specific category? Similar to how a standard template override would work, but instead use a Page Builder layout?

Thanks

Hi there!

Thanks for reaching out to us.

There is no default way to do that I think. But you can export the SPPB page that you create and want to reuse as a layout. After that, while creating another article just import the page and change your necessary contents inside. This way the layout will be the same and will be time efective I hope.

What the thread opener meant is native integration into the Joomla core content component. The idea is certainly interesting. It would actually be a dream to be able to customize or create standard template overrides. Is something like that on the roadmap?

Hi Julian,

Thanks for joining in the conversation here.

However, ss I stated there earlier, this is not avaialable. Moreover, can you share an effective example of it to get a clearer picture?

Its just creating an layout for the standard joomla core com_content component.

A example is the Astroid Framework Article Layout Builder. https://docs.astroidframe.work/article-blog/article-layout-builder Hhe does exactly that.
