Background Video Scaling At Height Of Section And Not Width Of Window

In a section with text and white background I want to have a background video (2500x300px) running with also a white background. Problem is: When the browser is too slim and the video is always scales with the width it happens that you have black boarders displayed on top and at the bottom. How can I perhaps use custom css (option seems not to be in menu) to define that the video is scaling at height of section and not width of window?
