Make your addons with the same settings, in the video addon you can insert shorts, in this one you can't. It's a mess.

Shorts have a scroll play list format, but not single page format. So not intended for embedding. Even on the YouTube side, in the standard share functionality there is no this possibility. Therefore, you can embed Shorts only through copying its code but not via url
Perhaps the team should modify this addon.But so far only the code.
