Image "title" Tags

Hello

Sites are not passing W3C compliance as image title tags are not supported. When an image addon is added to a SPPB page, the image shows, the ALT tag is present in Inspector but the title is missing:

<img class="sppb-img-responsive" src="/images/2024/03/15/school_in_action_logo.jpg" alt="School in Action" title="">

There is no feild in the Image Addon to create the image Title (not referring to the Admin Title which is different altogether).

I haven;t looked but I don't know if all Image based addons have this missing feature?

Can you advise?

Hi Chris,

There is Title field, but maybe your template override that addon with old code.

Check if you have "image" folder here, if YES, delete it

templates\YOUR-TEMPLATE-NAME\sppagebuilder\addons\image

Thanks Paul

This relates to SPPB3 with Shaper_HelixUltimate template. as such

templates\Shaper_HelixUltimate\sppagebuilder\addons\image

does not exist.

So it's quite weird, maybe reinstall component.

Download from our site (today), and install again. Check from 2nd browser or using Incognito mode.

I hope you know that feature exist only in SPPB Pro 5.2.9 !
