Troubleshooting Text Block Formatting Issues: Seeking Solutions

Unfortunately, I'm currently having the issue that I can't format text blocks properly. When I try to insert a blank line between the lines, it doesn't work. The default line spacing is also way too large? See the picture. What should I do?

Soft enter - a colloquial term for the transition to a new line in editors, where pressing the Enter key starts a new paragraph. It is entered by pressing usually the key combination Shift+Enter. Both TinyMCE and JCE should have it.
