Hi, If I want to change something in the backend of the "allura" template, the error message "Request failed with status code 413" appears when saving. If I want to change something in the frontend, the processing cycle goes on forever and the changes are not saved. Can anyone tell me why this is happening? Almost forgot, I work with Joola 5.5.1

Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out, and I apologize for any inconvenience caused by this oversight. Could you kindly grant me access to your Joomla administrator area so that I can investigate the issue you're experiencing? Prior to providing access, please ensure that you have backed up your site. Additionally, it's important to note that providing login credentials is entirely voluntary on your part; we respect your decision either way. However, if you do choose to share the login details, it would greatly expedite the resolution process. Thank you for your cooperation.

Best regards,

Toufiqur Rahman (Team Lead, Support)

Hi, As already written, the error "Request failed with status code 413" occurs when you open the Home - Default page and want to save changes.

Thanks in advance

Read also: https://blog.hubspot.com/website/413-request-entity-too-large (scroll to section "How to Fix Error 413 in WordPress") this same rule is in Joomla.

For Joomla 4/5 + SPPB + Helix Ultimate based templates you need those settings:

  • PHP: memory_limit: 256 MB or 512M
  • PHP: post_max_size: 128M
  • PHP: upload_max_filesize: 32M or higher (but don't set unlimited value "-1" !!)
  • PHP: max_execution_time = 300 (or more is suggested)

Set in CPanel or talk with Hosting Support.

Hi Paul, The message "Request failed with status code 413" appears when you want to save an existing article. Nothing is uploaded, the entire web "allura" is already on the server and also works in the browser frontend. So there is no question of files being too large. Best wishes Hans

I am not talking only about file upload limit , but all 4 PHP settings. Have you updated them?

Later @Toufiq will check your site. But we need access.

Hi,

I would like to repeat my question #161641:

I have uploaded the screenshot with the error message to the server for you, but when I save it on the page I get an error message: "Home - Default". I use Chrome. Why can't I change or save anything on this page? Screenshot in hidden content

After some time can't visit your site. Is there any country restriction issue? Thanks
