Can you please try this solution

templates/your_templates/html/com_spplms/events/default.php

Rename the file of default.php to xdefault.php

Having said that, the events filter is not available in the educon template due to the design.

Hello there, after renaming files, the filter is sitll not available and also layot of the page is broken.

its looks that Educon template is out date and dont support all sp lms features, maybe it will be good idea to fix it when a lot of user still us it?

Hello, lets say that was fixed in latest Educon version, but its hardcoded and changing option under spl lms to on/off dont have any impact to show it on page or not. So its looks that fix was done, but i wll not comment quality of this fox. Regards.
