EasyStore Add-ons Missing In SP Pagebuilder

EasyStore 1 year ago

I am in the process of designing a webpage for a single item using the Joomla platform for my client. I saw this video on Youtube (https://youtu.be/PolLf-Nr6G8?si=hiXLrHDpxIcSXVIS)for building a single page store with SP Page Builder using EasyStore so I purchased the EastStore personal license since I thought it was perfect. Upon building the new single page I have noticed that I do not have any of the EasyStore add-ons in the SP Page Builder so I purchased a personal license for SP Page Builder as well. But still the EasyStore add-ons on the SP Page Builder are still missing. The EasyStore component to build my store seems to be ok but just the add-ons are missing. How do I get the add-ons?

I was able to fix this error. After purchasing EasyStore license I still had to purchase a Page Builder license in order to download the most recent version. Once SP Page Bulider was updated to the latest version, the EasyStore add-ons became available. But now I am not able to use the add-ons as shown on the youtube video I was hoping to follow. Many of the add-ons are not allowed in the sections when building the store. When I click and drag the add-ons to the colums they will not stay in the column. Does anyone know of a similar tutorial that will help design a nice single item webpage like tis one https://youtu.be/PolLf-Nr6G8?si=hiXLrHDpxIcSXVIS ? Thank you

The licensing and installation of add-ons is a mess.

The only way I managed to sort it out was to start from a QuickStart install and then remove everything I didn't want. I found it impossible to start with a clean Joomla installation and add EasyStore and PageBuilder in any sensible fashion.

I also started with a quickstart template from Joomshaper thinking if I kept all the products together everything would go smooth but that does not seem to be the case. I do enjoy the SP Page Builder but it seems as the EasyStore extension has major changes when there are updates making it difficult when you are already used to working with it before the updates. I really need to finish this project for my client so I am looking into moving to j2store as it does not seem to have so may issues. EasyStore looks more appealing but if I cannot make it work I will need to move on.
