An error has occurred with the authors since the last update. We are using Pagebuilder 5.3.8 and the Gazette 2.0.3 template. The author detail pages can be called up normally at first. However, if you want to click one page further, you end up back at the author overview. e.g. https://www.leuze-verlag.de/galvanotechnik/autoren/Yamm

Is there a solution for this?

I’ve checked the author pages on your site, and they appear to be working correctly on my end. Could you please clear your Joomla cache from the admin dashboard and then try again? This may resolve the issue.

Hello Ziaul,

Thank you for the quick reply. I have completely deleted the cache. Unfortunately, the problem persists. As soon as I want to go to another subpage with articles by the author (click on the numbers 1 to 10), I am redirected to the overview page, which is not correct. Instead, another nine posts by the author should appear. This can also be seen clearly in your video.

I have checked the Gazette template on my end, and it is working fine. It’s possible that some changes on your site may have caused this issue. Could you please provide me with access to your site so I can investigate further? Also, please ensure you have a backup of your site.

We recommend using the Akeeba Backup extension for this purpose.

Hello Klaus,

I apologize for the delay in getting back to you. I have identified the issue, which is related to Joomla Update. Please follow the steps below to resolve it. We will also include this fix in the next build of SP Author Archive.

  1. Navigate to the Joomla root directory in your file manager, then you will see components folder in your directory. Components -> com_spauthorarchive -> views -> articles -> tmpl -> default.php

  2. Replace the existing pagination code in this file with the updated code provided below, then save your changes.
