Website Accessibility Problems - One Domain Works, The Other Doesn´t - Same Joomla Installation

We host our company website www.company.de with Strato in Germany. Additionally, we have another domain, www.company-2.de, which is only used for testing purposes. The web space is also with Strato and includes a Joomla 5 installation equipped with the Helix Ultimate framework and the SP Page Builder, both from Joomshaper in licensed full/Pro versions. We also use the Aimy Canonical (PRO) plugin and CookieHint and Consent from ReDim.

In my opinion, all plugins and the Joomla installation are correctly configured, as are the .htaccess and robots.txt files. All parameters of the two domains are identical. The domain www.company.de has an MX Autodiscover and forwards all incoming emails to our Microsoft Outlook mail server. When the Joomla installation is accessed via www.company.de, sporadic outages occur, which can last several minutes and make the website temporarily unreachable. Sometimes, a proxy error appears in the browser.

It is difficult to determine how often this error occurs; it can happen every 15 minutes, but the website might also run error-free for 2 hours. However, if the second domain, www.company-2.de, is used instead to access the same Joomla installation, the web call to the company site works 100% perfectly, and the website is always reachable.

In the event of an error, when the website cannot be accessed under www.company.de, the following entry can be found in the Strato error log: "FastCGI: "/home/strato/http/fastcgi/rid/62/65/5946265/htdocs/joomla/index.php" aborted: no response after 363 sec (idle timeout 360 sec)."

Does anyone have any ideas on where the error might lie?

Hello Ralf Hille

It is difficult to get your issue by reading. If possible, then please share a screencast of the issue. Also, share the not working link to check it. Your domain loads fine so far.

Best regards

In the hidden content, there is a link to the page that sporadically does not work. It is very strange that the same Joomla installation in the same directory works 100% when accessed via one domain name but has sporadic errors when accessed via another domain name. Therefore, I would suspect that the error is not in the Joomla installation but in the domains. However, I am not an expert in DNS, etc.

I have checked but could not find any issue. Will you be more specific? But I think you should contact your hosting provider for domain related issue. Please check the screencast shared in the hidden content.

tanks. I've made some progress. When I run a stress test with 5000 clients per minute using https://loader.io, a normal standard Joomla 5 installation works fine on the Strato server and remains accessible via my web browser. However, when applying the same stress test to a Joomshaper Joomla 5 installation with Helix Ultimate and SP Page Builder (your demo quick install package), it crashes fairly quickly and becomes inaccessible via the web browser for several minutes. What could be the cause of this?

Could you please share your report? I will then forward it to the developer team. They will check what caused the issues and what improvements are needed.
