Random Testimonials And Text File Entry

Is there a way of randomising the testimonials? It appears to always start at the same entry, even when switching pages which is not ideal.

Secondly, is there a way of importing testimonials from a text file? We have lots of them and having to enter these individually is also far from ideal.

I used to use the excellent RQuotes plugin which did exactly that. Any text file containing delimited quotes (using a | pipe delimiter I think) would automatically be used present in the right place in the site folder.

Hello Ofi,

Understood. The Testimonials add-on is a great tool but would be a lot better with random quotes and with a better way of entering the text and perhaps is something to consider for an upgrade.

If the add-on is used on two different pages, are the testimonials going to be the same or will each instance of the add-on use a different list?

I will talk to the team about your idea of random sliding in the addon.

The addon works the same on all pages. The only difference you can make is by changing the settings and content.
