On your place I would do a basic Joomla tests:

1. Check if you created a menu item with Registration form - is still published?
2. Check in Users Options, if you didn't disabled Allow Registration.
3. Rename that folder: templates\shaper_moview\html\com_users\registration
4. Then check again.

Dear Paul, thank's for your quick answer. I use the original template's module for login and create a new account which was working fine till last week. So I didn't find any menu item with Registration form and and if I remember correctly it never existed. As for Users options yes the option is checked to allow registration. I also renamed the folder templates\shaper_moview\html\com_users\registration but nothing changed. Finally when any new user try to create a new account the system directs to error 404 Call to a member function get() Thanks

1. It means that you forgot to add it, oh!!
2. For 3min switch template to Casiopea (set as default) and use registration link and check again.

Maybe it's a problem on different level.

Unfortunately Paul nothing works. The same happens with Casiopeia template. It must be something else. I even tried creating a menu item that points to account login. Anyone can log in with their passwords, but no one can create a new account. Thanks

If you have the same also with Casiopea, it means Joomla problem and >> forum.joomla.org
