Customizations And Other Actions Not Working Since Joomla5 Update

I recently udpated to joomla 5 and php 8.1, from joomla 4 and php 7.4 I cleared the joomla cache, and since this time, no customizations are working using custom css, etc. If I go into pagebuilder from the backend and open a page, and customize and save it. It does not keep the changes.

Also, it shows my home page as checked out and it is not.

OK, thank you. Although it's been working every since I did a back up. I'll keep this for future records though, thank you so much for your help!!

Update, I did a restore back to when I first upgraded to joomla 5, it now seems to be working now. I'll have to figure out what's causing this error. Things I did: removed several old templates. Uninstalled an antivirus component. Any suggestion on what would cause this?

It seems to me that it's the SP Page Builder version because I had already used the latest J5 version before, and everything was fine. I will try to revert to one of the earlier versions of the component and test it right away. i'll let U know.

Nope, it's still ignoring the custom.css file. Additionally, it's pulling colors from the preset2.css file – but when I check that file, the colors are different. Manual changes aren't helping either.

i found all post here with the solution

Rename custom.css file into override.css Inside Template Options > Custom Code > Before end of < head > add below line

<link href="/templates/shaper_helixultimate/css/override.css" rel="stylesheet" />
