Website Only Works In Certain Countries

Hello everyone,

I have had my website migrated to the new Joomla via a freelancer. However, I now have the problem that the website does not work in Germany, but only in the USA, for example. If you visit the site from Germany via VPN, it works perfectly.

What could be the reason for this and how can I solve this problem?

Hi. At least this is not related to Joomshaper products. If your site uses the component as Admin Tools or RSFirewall, check its settings. If you do not use such components, contact the hosting support.

It works here, in EU country.

My suggestion is:

  1. Ask Hosting support
  2. Check if you have any firewall installed, as @Pavel said.
  3. Disable preloader effect in Template Options (is not needed!)

Thank you very much for your answers!

I have followed your suggestions. The hosting support says that the website is working normally. A firewall is not installed and the preloader effect has been disabled. Unfortunately, the problem still occurs.

I would like to describe it in more detail here and it usually happens in this order:

  1. the page loads without problems on the first visit.
  2. Visiting a subpage, it usually also loads.
  3. If you visit a second subpage, only the loading symbol appears
  4. After closing the tab and reloading the page, only the loading symbol appears.
  5. If you delete the cache and reload the page, it starts again at the first point.

The problem occurs on iOS, Windows, Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Explorer etc.

The interesting thing is that you can see that the website is loading on the cell phone, but the loading symbol is superimposed. You can clearly see the website in the lower area. I have attached a corresponding screenshot.

I look forward to your help!

German server, 150 km away and site does not work. Failed to connect to the server at “bonum......”

US Server - I told you to disable "preloader" it only makes mess for browser engine!

Template options > Basic > Body > Preloader: OFF (grey!) > Save.

And do that for all Template Styles that you use.

Thank you very much for the answer! - I actually mixed up Preloader with Lazy Load.

Preloader is now everythere off and the page loads normally again.

But now there is the following problem after Preloader has been switched off:

The layout of the page is messed up. Everything is on top of each other and is completely mixed up. This is not the case when Preloader was on, because the page layout looked normal.

How can I set it so that the layout is as it was before and the page loads normally?

But preloader is just simple .js ... to delay showing final site, in general, no relation with the site design.

please make screenshot , upload on your server and share link.

Thank you for your reply. I can't really explain why the layout of the website gets so messed up when I turn off the preloader. It loads perfectly now, but that doesn't help much.

I have put the screenshots with preloader on and off in the hidden box. You will also find the two links to the websites with preloader and without.

Hello everyone,

I wanted to refer back to my previous message and ask if anyone has had time to look at the screenshots and has a suggestion for a solution.

Kind regards

Leo

A reason is different.

Please in Template Options > Advanced > disable CSS and JS compression and check again !

Use JCH_Optimzier instead.

Thank you very much for your message.

CSS and JS compression have been deactivated and JCH_Optimzier has been installed and activated.

But unfortunately I have to inform you that the front-end has not changed.

What else could I do?
