Where would I find someone trustworthy I could hire to make a few custom CSS changes for my Simple Portfolio pages on my website?

Hi Chris,

You have many options, for example, you can find someone on your country Joomla fanpage (FB), if community still exists. Hopefully, in many EU countries we still have it.

Before I spend much time trying to locate someone to customize code for me, perhaps you can let me know if what I seek is even possible.

Within the SP Portfolio extension, I would like to have a page that lists all items in a category - but I would like that when you click on a filter, in addition to it reducing the items from all to just the items that match the selected category, I would like a text box to show giving some description of the filter chosen.

For example, on the page I am building I have a list of portfolio items with 6 filters available. When I select the filter for "Demolition", it shows only the projects in our portfolio where we performed demolition work. I would like (while that filter is active) to have a text box appear that describes our demolition experience. If I were to then choose a different filter (example: "Utilities") I would like the text box to change to a description of our experience installing utilities.

Is there a way to show a text box based upon a particular filter being active?

If that is not possible, is it possible to create a link to the porfolio page with a specified filter active (in other words, a link to jump to the page without "Show All" being the active default? My thought is that then I could create a page with multiple text boxes describing all 6 of our filters, and then clicking on one of those text boxes would lead to the portfolio with the selected filter "active".
