Replcating A Latest News Block

The "Latest Stories" block in the Gazette template is set to a "horizontal" layout in the article addon. However, this "horizontal" option is not available in the current version of SP Page Builder.
In my version, the available layout options are: Default, Editorial, Side by Side, Mansory, and Magazine. When I choose Magazine, the content disappears from the screen.
