SP Page Builder 11 months ago

On this site: https://thedunneclan.com/

SPPB was updated to v 5 and resulted in the following:

Failed opening required '/home/dunne/public_html/administrator/components/com_sppagebuilder/editor/helpers/AddonsHelper.php' (include_path='.:/opt/cpanel/ea-php82/root/usr/share/pear')

While I was logged in to the backend, I wasn't able to access anything. Each page showed the error (components, system, users, menus, etc.). And the site is down on the front end. Now that I was timed out, I can no longer log in.

Help :(

Hello Karen,

I apologize for the inconvenience.

Could you please try uninstalling SP Page Builder and then reinstalling it? If the error persists, please grant me admin and cPanel access in the hidden content section so I can investigate further.

Before proceeding, make sure to keep a backup of your site.

Thank you!

Karen, For me it looks like that not all files were correctly updated. That's why Joomla cannot load needed file. Maybe simple reinstalling component will help. Then clear file cache in Joomla and cPanel.

It's very rare issue!

Hi Paul and Ziaul ,

I'd love to do that but because of the error, I can no longer access the backend. :(

Ziaul, I've added FTP credentials to the hidden content. I can't create a Joomla login for you because I can't access the backend.

Please, check your site is live. Due to some sp page builder folder missing, you see this issues.

Thanks,

Whew, thank you, Ziaul. I am able to login to the backend and I see the front end is loading. More errors are now present though.

I can confirm, both sides of the site are working fine. Missing folder & files.

In similar case, you can always grab the lastest quickstart of premium template, Unzip it, and take that folder from it: administrator\components\com_sppagebuilder

and then using FTP tool upload to server site. Then reinstall component with the lastest version.
