Database Error - Missing Column ‘description’ In Table (Eventum Template)

Dear Customer Support Team,

I am experiencing an issue on my website and would greatly appreciate your assistance. When trying to display session details on the frontend using the Eventum template, I encounter the following error:

“Unknown column ‘a.description’ in ‘field list’”

After investigating the problem, it seems that the description column is missing from the #__speventum_sessions table in the database. I have checked the database structure, and it appears that this column is not present.

Could you please provide guidance on how to resolve this issue? Specifically, I need to ensure that the description field is added correctly to the table and that the data is retrieved properly for display on the website.

Thank you for your support, and I look forward to your prompt response.

Dear Customer Support Team, Thank you for your assistance. The problem is that the “description” on the session page field is not being populated for the sessions, which is causing the following error: “Unknown column ‘a.description’ in ‘field list’”

Upon further investigation, I discovered that the description field is missing from the #__speventum_sessions table in the database. As a result, the description data cannot be retrieved or displayed on the frontend. Could you please assist in adding the description field to the #__speventum_sessions table? This will allow the data to be properly populated and displayed.

Thank you for your support, and I look forward to your prompt response.

Dear Customer Support Team,

Thank you for your response. As requested, I am providing the following details and screenshots to help you better understand the issue with the missing description field in the #__speventum_sessions table:

  1. Screenshot of the database structure: In this screenshot, you can see that the description field is missing from the #__speventum_sessions table, which is preventing the correct display of the data.

  2. Screenshot of the input screen for the description field in the Joomla backend: This shows the input form for the description field for sessions in the Joomla backend. As you can see, the field is present and correctly populated, but it seems not to be saved or used due to its absence in the database table.

  3. Syntax Error returned by the system: The error indicates that the description field cannot be found in the table.

  4. The string I use to populate the description field: Here is the PHP string I use to populate the description field within the code

I hope these details help you better understand the situation and resolve the issue. Please let me know if you need any further information.
