Educon Template Stripping Out Title And Description Tags

Hi Guys,
It seems the Educon template has code in it that is stripping out the meta page title. It's located on line 41 in the following file /templates/shaper_educon/html/com_content/article/default.php.
Can I ask why is this in here? This overrides the 'Browser Page Title' tab in Joomla and adds the page title as the menu item title. This makes zero sense and is actually harmful for SEO.
Also - this template doesn't seem to pull in the meta description tag into pages. Can you please advise on how to alleviate this issue and update your core codes in any future updates please?
I've had a few clients SEO impacted heavily because of this.

It seems you're not really interested in fixing this issue with the template.
I have installed a search engine friendly URL component to alleviate the issue. Dissapointing.

If you look at the source code of the page you will see there is no description tag added. I notice the Educon demo template also has no description tags in the internal pages. Example
This is really bad for SEO if your meta title code is overwritten by the navigation title and you're not rendering meta description tags.

At a guess, if you accessed the site on 4G on your phone you will be able to view it - it's obviously something to do with your connection?
Either way, this is still ignoring the issue, you can see the same issue happening with the demo on your site.
I can't help but get the feeilng you're avoiding looking into this or stalling????
