Hi,

We have set up two templates using the Helix Ultimate Framework on our site. However, we are experiencing issues with the transparent header template. The offcanvas menu is currently displaying on all screen sizes, but we only want it to appear on tablets and mobile devices.

While I can hide the offcanvas menu on desktops using CSS, but I want a perminent solution. The offcanvas menu automatically opens on big screen and mobile, which is not the desired behavior.

Could you please guide us on how to fix this? We want the offcanvas menu to be available only on tablets and mobile devices, and it should open only when the burger icon is clicked.

Ok, found.

There is problem when module "Air Quality Widget" is enabled (published), it causes the JS conflict with our Mobile Menu script. By now I disabled that. And Mobile Menu works OK, as it should.

Decide what to do next with that information.

HI Uki,

it should be possible from Template Options > Menu > Offcanvas, as we described in Helix documenation. Have you read that tip?

As I saw, you already disabled [=] from Desktop view :)

Thank you for your response. Yes, I’m aware of this tip, but the issue I’m facing is slightly different. The offcanvas menu is still appearing on desktop even after being disabled.

Could you please check the site? Specifically, take a look at the settings of the rhi1889 - transparent header template, as the issue occurs only with this template.

Share direct URL to subpage , but as I remember no [=] icon on desktop view.

Please check from 2nd browser to be sure that it's not a cache issue.

Thank you for prompt reply. If I try to hide the Offcanvas with CSS it also disaapear from mobile, that is the main problem.

Very sorry for the delay, our developer couldn't find a reason of that werid behavior.

I will try other method in next minutes.

It looks like sort of JS conflict becuase of using extra extension on home page only.
