SP Page Builder 11 months ago

The last days I found out that there must be big compatibility problems for the last SP Pagebuilder updates. Visibly by enormous website loading problems for my joomla site! Please check your later SP Pagebuilder components versions 5 - especially probably 5.4.5 and 5.4.6. My Joomla4! site (with latest cms version 4.4.10) was not running more correctly after I did the SP Pagebuilder updates from 5.0.8 to the latest versions 5.4.5 and 5.4.6. My site had suddenly enormous loading problems. Definitely caused by SP Pagebuilder. There must bee conversion problems within SP Pagebuilder caused by the component update. To help myself I had to restore an older site backup. That helps for the moment, but not for the future, because I would like to to regularily component updates in future again.

Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out, and I apologize for any inconvenience caused by this oversight. To better address the issue, could you kindly provide Joomla administrator access? This will enable me to thoroughly investigate the matter and provide you with a prompt resolution.

I appreciate your cooperation and will ensure to get back to you as soon as possible.

Best regards,

Hi Toufiqur, please have a look at the problematic website (link and login given in hidden content below). You can see by yourself the enormous loading time now if you call the website frontend. Today morning I just restored an older website backup (with SP Pagebuilder version 5.0.8) so that my website got back to the status where it was running really fast. Now for you to find out the reason of my problems I just did the problematic SP Pagebuilder update from 5.0.8 to 5.4.4 so that immediately afterwards website loading became enormous. Please log into the joomla4! website by the data given below to find out the reason for this big loading problem caused by SP Pagebuilder's update to 5.4.4.

Hi, your test server seems to be a very very fast one. But still I detect even there a slight delay on loading. I contacted my hosting company to check my server. They did serveral tests, restarts etc. but without improvement. But if I restore an older Spagebuilder Version like 5.0.8 on my site and on my server, the site loads todally fast! Therefore the loading problem definitely can't be caused by the SERVER itself.

What I found out is the following:

1. The enormous loading delay happens only on website subpages where I have implemented SP pagebuilder pages. I made a test and created a new main menu item ("Aufstiege-test") in main menu (this menu item is only visible for logged in users!). The subside that I use for this menu item is an article where I don't use SP pagebuilder. And here loading is quick! Therefore the loading delay is caused by SP pagebuilder and definitely not not by the server!
  1. I found out that the problem must be caused by one of the last SP pagebuilder updates itself, because: I created a NEW SP pagebuilder page ("Testpage-No1") with some really NEW content (1 new section + 1 new heading). You can see this new subpage via menu item "Testpage-No1", if you are logged in. And loading is QUICK! But: Then I created a second NEW SP pagebuilder page ("Testpage-No2") now with content of formerly saved items (saved items of already existing pagebuilder pages) . You can see this new subpage via menu item "Testpage-No2". And loading is ENORMOUS! Therefore the problem must be the combination of older SP Pagebuilder page-content and new SP Pagebuilder Update!

I am quite sure that the enormous loading is caused by with one of the last SP pagebuilder Updates! It seems that the new version of SP Pagebuilder can't handle existing SP Pagebuilder pages correctly and causes now enormous loading problems. Some weeks ago there was no loading problem at all on this site!

please read hidden content of my former post from yesterday. There I provided you access to the website backend. I can't give you access to the hosting account. Please start first by looking into the website backend and experience the different loading processes for the mentioned frontend subsides. It must be caused by pagebuilder recent updates.

ok, but that's not the answer for my post #182822 You claim the server, but the real problem must be inside Pagebuilder. Please study the description of my tests - regard #182822 - no 2

yes, I did. The hoster told me that I got a normal hostingaccount sufficient for cms like joomla and its components. Therefore I ask you where you could see a critical point?

This doesn't help me at all. My hoster told me for him everything is ok. I need to know the system requirements for the latest pagebuilder versions.
