Hello:

I'm experiencing something that I have never quite noticed beofre in the years using SPPageBuilder or Joomshaper. That is that I have Double Sidebars on a couple of my pages.

Has anyone heard of this before?

I'll provide login details in the private section just incase.

Hi Michael,

Thanks for reaching out. The double sidebar issue could be caused by duplicate module assignments, layout settings, or template overrides. Please try the following steps:

  1. Check Module Assignments – Ensure the sidebar module isn’t assigned twice in Extensions > Modules.
  2. Review Page Layout – Go to SP Page Builder > Pages and verify the section structure.
  3. Clear Cache – In Joomla, go to System > Clear Cache, and also try clearing your browser cache.
  4. Check for Overrides – If using Helix Ultimate, check Templates > Template Files for any custom modifications.

Could you also share screenshots of the issue and let us know which pages are affected? This will help us investigate further.

Looking forward to your response!

Best regards,

Thank you Ziaul for your reply.

I have done what you asked and didn't find a solution.

However, I did a little bit of investigation on the homepage, which is the only place that it shows up. It's also only in Internet Explorer from what I can tell too.

What I did was is that I disabled sections on the homepage until the problem went away. You'd think this was a good thing, but ultimately the problems comes back anytime you add another section of any other than one existing one.

Anything other than that, I can't figure out why it's like that.

Hello,

This type of issue can be quite difficult to diagnose, especially since Internet Explorer was discontinued in 2022. I recommend using Microsoft Edge instead.

You don’t need to worry too much about Internet Explorer compatibility, but if the issue persists in Edge, please check and share screenshots. That will help me better understand and troubleshoot the problem.

Thanks!

I apologize, I don't know what possessed me to say Internet Explorer, I meant to say Microsoft Edge.

I will try and get some screenshots.

Thanks.

Hello,

I have added a new section to your homepage and checked it in Microsoft Edge, but I didn’t encounter the issue you described.

I recommend upgrading your browser and checking again. Let me know if the issue persists.

Thanks!

So I upgraded the browser and I'm still having the problem... I'm just at a loss for words. I don't know how to fix this. I also emptied the Joomla cache again as well.

I have checked your site in multiple browsers but didn’t notice any issues.

You can try this: When you encounter the issue, inspect the page using the browser’s developer tools and check which <div> or element the scroller is coming from.

Then, share the details here.
