Issue With Sending/Receiving Emails From Joomla System Administration

Hello,
I am currently experiencing an issue with sending and receiving emails from the Joomla system administration section.
Despite ensuring that all updates are applied, when I attempt to test the email functionality, it indicates that the email has been sent successfully. However, I do not receive anything in my inbox. I have tested both sending and receiving, and neither seems to work.
Could you kindly assist me in troubleshooting this issue? Any guidance or recommendations to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.
