Even More Issues With URLS...

Hi,

I am continuing to have issues with the way that SP Pagebuilder sets URLs...

Here is my problem:

I have a Main Menu on my site with the following URL - where-is-it-used

I have the following main menu structure - Where-Is-It-Used/Aerospace

This is part of the Menu Bar, therefore you can hover over Where Is It Used on the menu bar, and click onto the aerospace tab, which will bring you to a page with individual articles.

I want the individual articles to follow the same structure - eg - Where-Is-It-Used/Aerospace/Example Article

I cannot find anyway this is doable without having the article directly on the menu bar, which I do not want,

To be honest I am getting frustrated with the extremely complex nature of URL's in SP Pagebuilder, and cannot see any way I can fix this, without having each individual article listed on the menu bar.

I have tried creating a hidden menu, but it is telling me that I cannot have two Where-is-it-Used aliases, so therefore I cannot follow the same structure as the menu bar through my hidden menu,

Would really appreciate some help on this, though I cannot forsee a way this will work,

Thanks

I want the individual articles to follow the same structure - eg - Where-Is-It-Used/Aerospace/Example Article

Add items to menu as submenu item of Aerospace

Open menu item ExampleArticle

Tab "Link type" at the bottom

Display Menu Item Title = No Display In Menu = No

https://yoursite.tld/Where-Is-It-Used/Aerospace/ExampleArticle

Is this what you want?

Does it works on Joomla default? I mean if you ignore to use Helix then does it works or not. Thanks

Hi,

Apologies, I am not 100% sure what this means - how would I ignore helix in this case?

Thanks,

Hi,

I am not sure, but since we have built the whole website on Helix Ultimate Framework I am cautious that I do not want to break the website, and therefore would be reluctant to do this,

Are there no other ways that I can fix this - it is just rather annoying the way that these URL's work,

Thanks,

I just told you to switch template Helix Ultimate to Default Template (Cassiopeia - Default). Then check the URL and let me know it works or not.
