Hi,

I need to allow some of my clients, from a site with SP PAGE BUILDER, to edit pages in the backend.

Is there a safe way to do this?

They would only have access to SP PAGE BUILDER in the backend.

If you understand that this topic is outside of support, please understand that it is about using SP PAGE BUILDER.

However, as a last resort, please give me some basic guidance, so that I can research it.

Hi Marcos

You can protect your content using:

  1. ACL settings
  2. Regular backup

ad 1) Use that : /administrator/index.php?option=com_config&view=component&component=com_sppagebuilder

to get into SP Page Builder > Permissions tab

Then decide what each User Group can do.

  • Super User can do anything, so don't change anything.
  • But Author or Manager, for example, can have disabled option to delete Pages or Edit other then his Pages.

Think and decide wisely. We use the default ACL system for Permissions.

Very good! I created a group specifically for this, and then set the permissions for this group. It worked perfectly. Thanks!
