Hi, I would like to integrate the 3D viewer from this web site: https://extensions.com3elles.com/en/plugins-com3elles/3d-viewer-for-joomla It is a plugin making use of Joomla custom fields. How can I get it working in SP Page Builder pages? Thank you in advance, Jakob

Hi Jakob.

If content of that plugin can be used inside Custom Module (Joomla core) then you can use it inside Module addon. If it works only inside Articles (custom fields) - you are limited to articles only :/

Contact with its developer (pre-sale question) and ask how it can be used inside other components. I preview documenation but I never used it, so I cannot be advisor.

Hi Paul, that means SP Page Builder does not support Joomla standard custom fields at all? Is that right?

In Pages (SPPB) - you cannot use them, Custom Fields (Joomla core component) was created & implemented only for Articles, and since beginning it has integration with core Articles only.

But in Articles addon you can display list of articles with custom fields. At least standard (built-in) worked when I used it yesterday.

As I said before, talk with Com'3Elles developer about the possibilities of use, he knows his product perfectly, for sure will advise you something, maybe even he can create you a 3D-viewer addon or at least module.

My role ends here.

Hi Paul, thank you for your answer and the hint. With Articles addon you mean the "Articles" thing I can add in SPPB under "Add Elements"? I tried this too but it only display the text for replacement. It seems to me like the Plugin context is not evaluated. It looks like this:

3D Viewer: {"3d-viewer0":{"desc":"Pufferverrohrung","file":"Wand.glb","download_file":"","poster":"","output":"{\"attribs\":{\"src\":\"\",\"environment-image\":\"\",\"exposure\":1,\"shadow-intensity\":1,\"shadow-softness\":0.5,\"camera-controls\":\"\",\"autoplay\":\"\",\"touch-action\":\"pan-y\"},\"bg\":\"#ffffff\",\"hotspots\":[]}"}}

Is there anything I can do to make SPPB call the Plugin environment?

Thank you in advance, Jakob

Sorry, I cannot help more, beyond JS support. Talk with Com'3Elles developer. You need a module.
