Newsbuerg - Cannot Choose From Images Already Used.

Hi we have a major problem with this template. To add an image to the article and for it to appear on the home page you ahve to use the blog upload button. This means we can only upload an image and do not have the ability to use an image we have already used. This means we will have to upload an image every time we post an article and we post hundreds a month. This will result in thousands of duplicate images on our server.
I have found a workaround for this:
In plugins/system/helixultimate/params/blog-options.xml
I have changed the line: <field name="helix_ultimate_image" from type="heliximage" to type="media"
This allows the system to bring up the Joomla image manager and you can see folders and file and choose them for your article. These appear fine in the two big image slots at the top but will not show in the line below (see screenshot) https://imgur.com/a/uQlbDCH
This is a big issue for us and is preventing us launching our website so any fix would be great.

Accepted AnswerThank you Toufiq. Updating the plugin has brought back the original problem where we cannot choose existing images from exiting folder which is why I changed this line

We are back to having to uplaod a brand new image every time we post an article and back to having thousands of duplicate images on the drive

I would just like to point out that a News site template that will not let you pick existing stock images and create thousands of duplicate images is not a lot of use without expensive modfication.
I have since found out this issue was brought up a year ago here and nothing has been done about it.

Accepted AnswerThe thumbs are not the issue here, the issue is you cannot use exiting photos that are already on the server which is essential for a news site.
