Include Placeholder For Section In Subpage

I have integrated a section on all subpages of my website with the "Clients" add-on and it works well. I use this as an advertising banner.

Here's the challenge: I would like to display/change the images contained in the "Clients" add-on on 10 of 50 subpages, for example.

Question: Do I have to access all 10 subpages individually to change them, or is there a way to define a section once and then automatically access/include the content of this section in all 10 subpages?

Thank you for reaching out.

Yes, you can achieve this without having to edit each of the 10 subpages individually by using the SP Page Builder "Joomla Module" addon.

Here’s how you can do it:

  1. Create a Joomla module containing the desired content (e.g., the Clients section with different images).
  2. In SP Page Builder, use the "Joomla Module" addon in your section.
  3. Set the Type to "Module Position" and assign a unique position name (e.g., position-8).
  4. Add this configured section to the 10 subpages where you want the custom content.
  5. Finally, publish your Joomla module to the position you assigned (position-8 in this example).

With this setup, you only need to update the content once via the Joomla module, and it will reflect on all 10 subpages where that module position is used.

Option #2

You can use SPPB module(like above) and template position , for example, Content-bottom - then that module will be dispayed under component area. And you can choose under which subpages must be presented (menu items). Or you can use Advanced Module Manager and have even more flexible publishing rules.

In general think out the box, and you can safe a lot of time.
